Professional and reliable yacht charter company in Greece

We chartered a sailing yacht from Kekeris Yachts in Athens/Alimos – and overall, it was a very positive experience. The booking process was clear and efficient, with transparent pricing and good communication from the office team. On check-in, the boat was clean, well maintained and matched the description and age provided in the offer. The staff at the marina were professional and friendly, took the time to explain the systems on board and gave us practical advice for our route in the Greek islands.[trustpilot +3] During the week, any questions we had were answered quickly, and there was no feeling of being “nickel-and-dimed” with hidden charges or unfair claims. Check-out was smooth and fair, with a thorough but reasonable inspection and a pleasant attitude from the team. Alisahni is a 2013 Bavaria Cruiser w bow thruster and solar panels. Very functional cruiser. At 2000-2200 rpms cruises smoothly at 7 kts, its well maintained for its heavy use; the charter company is a family business, presumably owning their yachts and they care for them. If you charter her, make sure you get a chain snubber, dont trust the fuel gauge (calculate your milage to be sure). Decent boat and the charter company very good as well. The outboard was very unreliable-as most outboards in Greek charters and that's why is not markewd against the charter company-consider skipping it.

Vacanza è vacanza, ed è stata bellissima. La barca, un po’ datata per scelta, ha fatto il suo dovere. Mi è però dispiaciuto scoprire solo al momento del ritiro che il ponte di Lefkada era chiuso: in fase di prenotazione ( febbraio ) il possibile problema ( presente da ottobre )non è stato indicato e anche alla partenza è stato presentato come un problema recente, risolvibile in pochi giorni. Questo ci ha costretto a modificare l’itinerario, passando, sia all'andata che al ritorno, all’esterno dell’isola e rientrando un giorno prima per evitare il maltempo. Avrei gradito maggiore trasparenza.

Bene ma non benissimo

Un Bavaria di soli due anni non dovrebbe avere tanti difetti, servirebbe più manutenzioni. Maniglie delle porte che si staccavano in continuazione, boccaporti senza guarnizioni, lavello con un gomito che impediva all'acqua di defluire, strumentazione non al top. Cose non gravi ma da sistemare.

Negli ultimi due anni ho affittato barche nel Dodecanneso/Cycladi per complessivi 75 giorni… avere una barca che funzioni al 100% senza spendere una fortuna è un miraggio, molte “magagne” sono coperte e vengono a galla nei momenti di difficoltà, che in questi mari non mancano mai…. Detto questo gli armatori sono stati solleciti nel rispondere al telefono e conoscevano bene la barca…

Come sempre tutto perfetto........... o QUASI. Solo due appunti: non ero stata avvisata che il motore era sottodimensionato, e raggiungeva max 4,5 nodi di velocità a mare piatto... per cui ho dovuto adeguare l'itinerario previsto, ed evitare lunghi spostamenti... (normalmente i 6-6,5 nodi si fanno). secondo, la pulizia della barca molto mediocre. l'ho fatto presente alla signora e al base manager. di contro, abbiamo consegnato indietro la barca perfetta, e non ci hanno fatto pagare la copertura della luce di via di poppa che avevamo staccato. Molto molto seri nei check in e out. precisissimi.

Wir waren die ersten, die das Boot ausgeführt haben. Daher war alles ganz sauber und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Von Erstbenutzer Mängel blieben wir bis auf den undichten Wassertank verschont (da hatte sich mit der Zeit wohl eine Schraube gelockert). Hatten einen Defekt in der Ankerwinsch, dieser wurde aber innert 24h behoben. Auch wenn es Bettdecken hatte, würde ich auf jeden Fall immer einen eigenen Schlafsack mitnehmen, vor allem so früh in der Saison (April). Alles in allem ein Super Törn mit einem guten Schiff in einem schönen Revier.

What a great boat rental experience!!!

Being kind of new to the boat rental business, I was skeptical about renting on-line at a company I had not heard of before. But Marenauta proved a very efficient and fast responder to all my questions and was great at following up and tracking all the data that has be relayed between you and the yacht company. The yachts company in question "KEKERIS YACHTS – KOS KARDAMENA" proved to be a league of its own. Long checklists, careful walk through of on-board equipment, care for the rental boats, perfect cleaning of the boats, friendly service and strict routines made you feel like you were renting a car in Germany. The 5 years old boat bears witness of rough handling by many untrained sailors, but everything was working 100%.

From your rating for the boat model we see that the yacht (type: Bavaria 39 cr.) you have chosen was not the ideal according to your needs.
We would like to inform you that in our fleet you can find more 3 cabin yachts of another manufacturer and type, such as Elan 384 impression, Bavaria Cruiser 41, Oceanis 343 clipper or Jeanneau 37.1 Sun Odyssey.
Although that, we would appreciate it very much if you help us to improve our services by informing us for the reasons why you rated low the comfort and instrumentation of the Bav.39cr.
