Hello, Thanks for the support on the boat rental. The boat was OK, but the renting company were not the best: We received the boat at 20:00 Saturday and we had to get additional stuff only the next morning. The water maker was not well adjusted and we didn’t get the instruction for setting it correctly. We had a big problem with the water in one WC was working uninterrupted up to closing the tap. The electric valve was defective. This problem was known and eliminated. The dinghy was too small calculating 11 peoples. All other things were OK. The boat was nice for all people on board. We are preparing the next booking on June.

Gutes Boot. Wartung ausreichend  
Checkin und Empfang bei Kavas war sehr freundlich und einfach. Der Zustand des Bootes, was die Wartung anbelangt kann ich eher als ausreichend bezeichnen.Mir ist natürlich klar, dass es Richtung Ende der Saison geht, aber es ist doch einiges aufgefallen. Die Windanzeige hat nie funktioniert, genausowenig wie die Anzeige für Wasser, oder die Batterdiespannung(gab eine improvisierte Anzeige, wurde aber nicht gebrieft).Die Manuelle Bilgepumpe habe ich selbst repariert. Auf meine Anfrage,warum die Bilge sich immerwieder mit Wasser füllt, sagte man mir, es kommt von der Befüllungung. Stimmte nicht.ein wassertank hat ein Leck.as den Komfort angeht,wären ein paar Kissen im Cockpit gut gewesen, da es auch keine Rückenpolster gab.Das jib war ein selbstwende Jib.Allerdings hatte man eine normale Schot angebracht.Passt absolut nicht zur geometrie des Segels und war daher nicht trimmbar.Jib hatte einen Riß.Das klingt jetzt alles sehr negativ, aber im Großen und Ganzen war der Charter ok. Ich finde nur dass in dieser Preisklasse Luft nach oben besteht, was Maintenance und Komfort betrifft.Ein paar Tage Wartung in der Saison hätten dem Boot nicht geschadet.

Bene, ma poteva essere meglio  
Ineccepibile la disponibilità del personale Marenauta. La barca era conforme a quanto pubblicizzato; abbiamo avuto un problema con il motore dell’ancora e lo scarico: nel primo caso abbiamo dovuto fare una deviazione dall’itinerario, nel secondo abbiamo avuto qualche disagio per un paio di giorni. Nota dolente lo skipper: non sembrava (per sua stessa ammissione) a suo agio con il tipo di barca (basti pensare che non siamo mai andati a vela -d’altronde lui ce lo scoraggiava- ma solo a motore) né con l’itinerario (era la prima volta che navigava in Eptaneso); una persona piu esperta avrebbe forse saputo risolvere anche i guasti tecnici che abbiamo avuto. Suggerisco quindi alla compagnia controlli più scrupolosi sulla manutenzione che viene fatta alle barche che propongono e una selezione più accurata del personale di bordo, magari coinvolgendo di più il cliente nella scelta
