The town is located south-east of the island of Murter, the largest island of the group of islands of Sibenik. The island is very interesting because it is very close to the mainland with which it is linked by a bridge 30 meters long. The small village of Jezera is located in a bay (in the shape of a horseshoe) surrounded by picturesque hills. Thanks to its natural position the country is not exposed to the wind blows, and so the bay is an excellent harbor for ships. The village is surrounded by the beauty of the sea and the small islands are also very close and the two National Parks "Kornati" and "Krka".
