Barca attrezzata in maniera impeccabile

"Ironic", questo il nome del Bavaria C42, mi è stato consegnato in ottime condizioni: tutta la strumentazione e gli impianti hanno sempre funzionato in maniera impeccabile, ma soprattutto Ironic è stato attrezzato in maniera eccellente. Non mancava assolutamente nulla: cime in abbondanza e in ottimo stato d'uso, stoviglie, pentolame, cuscineria, dotazione "di rispetto" per tutte le situazioni, davvero nulla da dire. Davvero ottimo l' impianto elettrico, in 2 settimane non è mai stato necessaria la sosta in porto per mettere sotto carica le batterie, ed i frigo - sia quello ordinario che il "pozzetto" - hanno sempre funzionato perfettamente. Bagni ok, sia quello manuale che quello elettrico, scarichi e pompe funzionanti e non maleodoranti. Cuscineria delle cuccette, lenzuola ed asciugamani di buona qualità e ben lavate.Vele in ottime condizioni.Abbiamo avuto un problema al verricello (era usurata la sede di aggancio delle maglie della catena) ma è stato risolto in meno di 12 ore (l' intervento in sè ha richiesto 15 minuti, ma è stato necessario reperire il pezzo di ricambio). Volendo trovare un difetto, Il verricello forse è proprio l' unico punto "debole", un pò lento e sottodimensionato, ma comunque sufficiente. Ottimo e parco il motore, consumi tra 3 e 4 litri/ora. Tender in perfette condizioni, compresi scalmi, pagaie ed ancorotto. Il motore del Tender (un 4 tempi cinese) invece era piuttosto pesante e di vecchia concezione, non proprio performante e un pò difficile da avviare, ma non ha mai dato problemi. Veloci ed efficaci sia il check-in che il check-out, gentile e sempre disponibile il Base Manager, burocrazia molto snella. Eravamo in 4 a bordo, abbiamo navigato a vela e motore per 2 settimane con oltre 250 miglia percorse e, in definitiva, è stata un'ottima esperienza.
