Freezer  
New and well-equipped boat, Bali is a guarantee when it comes to comfort; the build quality is another matter and is not top-notch. For a new boat, and especially in this segment, I would have expected all controls routed to the chart table panel (generator, watermaker, shore power switch) and not in awkward lockers and engine compartments. Special praise for the outdoor grill, which is very convenient. The port engine starting problem definitely needs to be fixed — during the week it got worse and worse, making navigation dangerous in an emergency (the last starts required up to 10 or 15 minutes of someone in the engine compartment fiddling with the electrical wiring connectors). The presence of diesel (half a bucket!!!) under the starboard hull floorboards, which forced us to sleep outside one night and which I had to remove with a scoop and sponge before cleaning and airing out to get rid of the smell, did not recur.... it should be investigated.. Excellent assistance at the dock...

Between Elba and Capraia...  
I chartered the boat from Sailing Sicily, for the first time, and the overall judgement is very positive. Marenauta's intermediation was decisive. I wanted to sail between Elba and the Tuscan archipelago. Thanks to Marenauta I found a well-equipped boat at a very competitive price. I received excellent assistance both by phone and at the base.

Excellent week on Elba, with room for improvement on the boat and o...  
The overall judgement of the holiday is excellent, taking into account the fact that we always found sun, little sea and when there was no wind we went looking for it, managing to do a lot of sailing. The return passage from Elba to Scarlino was one long beat with 13/17 knots of wind. The boat (Gloria) is substantially very good, with some aspects that could be improved. The autopilot switched off by itself a couple of times, bimini and sprayhood were tired and dirty (they need replacing), the cockpit cushions (paid separately despite the extras fee being over 500 euros) were low quality and general cleaning of the boat good but not very attentive to detail. Welcome, check-in and check-out procedures need reviewing. Below I will recommend the owner for the competitive price and above all for the zero-deposit option, which I consider very valid because the related voucher can be used at any of their bases in Italy. Not for check-in, check-out and assistance operations, in my view to be reviewed, at least in Scarlino that week.
