Toilets  
Unfortunately we had a couple of problems, one with the engine which, perhaps under a bit too much stress, started overheating; fortunately without consequences. The main issue was with the toilet — the owner, in my opinion in very good faith, had installed an electric pump in the bathroom to provide better service to guests. The problem was that the electric pump worked very poorly and so there was almost always a lot of waste left in the toilet before it could be pumped out. The owner, who in my opinion was not at fault, promptly replaced the pump as soon as we returned.

Brilliant sailing area with not such a good sailing yacht  
The Ionian Sea sailing area is a very beautiful region. Wind was not always present, so the engine often had to be used to cover the miles. Around Meganisi, Kalamos and Kastos the small motorboats are a plague. Too close, too fast and mostly unfortunately inconsiderate. Therefore it was not always possible to enjoy the beauty of some areas. The sailing yacht was unfortunately also not in the best condition. Navigation you could still manage with your own iPad which however is not acceptable—wind meter, depth sounder and log were simply not present or not readable. The sanitary system kept returning grey water into the toilet bowl which then awaited you as a surprise after a trip. Also once the toilet was blocked, which we freed with a plunger. Also the home harbour could only be used free of charge at the start and end. For all other days a fee of €25 would apply.
