New boat in poor condition  
The welcome at the Kroki office is a cool, matter-of-fact affair. I cannot speak of any helpfulness or warmth here. The boat, built in 2023, was unfortunately very neglected and not maintained. That hurts a sailor's heart. How can such a new boat be in such an unkempt state? Everything that can squeak, squeaks. From the cupboard door to the rigging. Stiff halyards, the jib and mainsail are hard to hoist. The dinghy is leaking and the dinghy engine keeps cutting out (fuel filter?). The mattresses, as in every charter boat, were well worn. The briefing was sparse. Luckily we know Bavarias well. The bottle holder in the fridge, which is anyway too small for the number of people, was not there at all. My comment on this was met with a shrug. Sure, you do not normally keep such things in stock, but you should think about it — or at least come up with an idea. In the toilet a notice was stuck on about rubbish bags you should use, but they were nowhere to be found. When our autopilot was defective, we could not fix it by phone. Luckily we were not far from the harbour and the electrician was already at the fuel dock and jumped straight on board. As there was strong wind and no one in the harbour to help, after a successful and very timely repair the electrician also helped us moor at the pier. Otherwise there was no one from Kroki on site. During the day many charter boats came into the harbour because of the strong wind. The sailors fortunately helped each other. Also the next day, Friday, strong wind, many boats coming into the harbour, no marinero from Kroki to be seen. Of the other charter companies, several marineros were on site by then to help with mooring in those conditions. When we expressed the wish to check out by phone on Friday, this was not received with enthusiasm. After some time someone did come and take the boat back from us. The hardworking cleaning ladies were already lined up as we left the boat. The cleaning ladies and the electrician deserve praise. Otherwise we had a good time and a nice holiday.

Excellent vessel - rushed check-in  
The rental was positive, but with some aspects to improve. Strengths: The sailboat was absolutely splendid and kept in excellent condition. Cleanliness was impeccable, which made our stay on board extremely pleasant. Aspects to Improve: Check-in operations were too rushed, leaving us with some operational doubts. The only real problem occurred the following day: we requested assistance but no staff member showed up. The lack of post-check-in support was a discomfort. In summary: Excellent fleet and vessels, but assistance and professionalism in the initial briefing need to be improved.
