Charter package:  End Cleaning, Outboard Engine, Dinghy, 1x set of Bed Linen & Bath Towels/person, 1x bottle of local wine, sparkling water, 1 bottle of Gas, local Greek nuts & marmalade, bathroom amenities, rubbish bags, welcome card. Required 300€ (per booking)
Deposit:  to be paid at check-in with credit card or cash Refundable 4000€
Skipper:  Paid on spot in cash. Food provided by clients or to be paid an extra 30€/day. Skipper must have his own cabin and access to one of the toilets. Damage waiver is obligatory on skippered charters. Optional 210€ (per day + food)
Stand up paddle (SUP) Optional 120€ (per week)
Starter pack:  dishwash liquid, sponge, rubbish bags, matches, toilet & kitchen rolls, fruit plate, water, orange juice, wine, packet of biscuits, individual sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, milk. Optional 70€ (per booking)
Hostess:  Food provided by clients or to be paid an extra 30€/day. Hostess Duties: Taking care of deck works, skipper assistance, cleaning of common areas, i.e. saloon, galley, prepare breakfast and a light lunch daily; Paid on spot in cash + food provisioning on client’s burden. Hostess must have her own cabin and access to one of the toilets. Optional 190€ (per day + food)
Transfer:  from airport to marina and vice versa, rates upon request (can only be arranged the latest 3 days before embarkation) Optional --

Staff at ionian catamaran charters were excellent. friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. The boat itself has problems with the electrical system. The charter listing indicated it would be fitted with solar panels but they were not fitted. I don't think they ever had been. The days we used it were normal for very light air required using engine a lot with extended engine running time of always 3 to 5 hours a day. Every night the low voltage alarm would go off at around 0300 due to lack of battery charge. Aside for the nuisance of alarms, this was frustrating as it meant the refrig in cabin and cockpit were not working part of the night. We are experience yacht owners and know how to operate a 12v boat. The two service batteries just did not charge up properly from alternator. On return the staff said that the alternator had recently been replaced and the batteries also. But there is something else that needs rectification. Luckily engine battery is separate so no problem to crank engine but you can't do that to charge batteries when med-moored in a quiet greek harbor after sundown. Typically moored and no shore power avail. The level gauge system for water tank and diesel fuel were useless. Both tanks were full when we started and after 3 days levels still showed 100% for fuel and the water tank never changed from 63%. On a boat I own I can stick the tank, estimate consumptions etc but a charter is black hole so we had no idea levels and fuel and water available. Few desirable harbors had fresh water and even fewer offer diesel. I think a charter boat fitted with gauging due to no stick access must have working level gauging. on last day the fuel dropped on gauge from 100% to 50% in a matter of minutes. Not fair for a charterer to be guessing on the fuel and water available. These things have to be calibrated properly and maintained. The boat had minor cabinetry damages that Ionian acknowledged during pre-inspection but we felt they should be getting repaired between charters. I would not likely charter a Hansa yacht next time. Palairos - Zakynthos, 1 week.  
Ionian catamarans (a company that represent them in Palairos) Has exceptionally serviceable and responsible staff. Base manager is friendly and welcoming. He gave invaluable advice on the itinerary and winds. The boat was clean, had a good owner's touch, and there was no shortage in ropes, fenders, cookware, finns/masks, bedding, towels and toilet paraphernalia. However, the boat itself (Kebitree, isla 40 2023) left a strange impression of either poorly built or having gone through incredible troubles. Unexpected for a cat that has been in operation for no more than a year and a half. Most of the doors didn't close due to supposed deformation of the bulkheads. Door locks were stuck or didn't lock. The electronic indicators for water and fuel didn't work. Steering wheel was tuned the way it is hard to steer manually (it is supposed to resist, because isla 40 steering wheel has no lock screw, but on this boat it was too uncomfortable). On the other hand all the engines incl. the offboard and generator worked well. Davits has an electrical whinch, but it was constantly overlapping over and then tearing the rope. We used it accurately, in tiniest pulses, but it kept happen. M.b. thicker rope is required there. The running rigging is a bit wear and requires a good wash in fresh water.
