La barca si è rivelata di ottima e lo skipper si è dimostrato simpatico e molto prudente. Tuttavia, l’accoglienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Avevamo richiesto un check-in anticipato, ma siamo stati costretti ad attendere due ore.

Ci dispiace che la cliente si sia trovata male con i servizi della società, purtroppo l’early check-in è un extra che non possiamo garantire essendo che dipende da moltissimi fattori.

Tanto che la cliente, si l’aveva chiesto, ma per correttezza, non l’ha pagato visto che non era stato possibile garantirlo.

Per il resto sembra si sia trovata bene con la barca e che si sia goduta la vacanza, questa è senza dubbio la parte più importante per noi.

Buona vacanza però sorpresa all'arrivo  
La vbarca e la vacanza sono andati bene, l'inconveniente finale ha lasciato però l'amaro in bocca. All'arrivo a Marsala l'operatore è andato a verificare se l'anodo dell'elica aveva subito dei danni dovuto ad una cima che a San Vito Lo Capo si era imbrigliata sull'elica stessa. Secondo l'addetto l'anodo si era rotto (ma non staccato) e bisognava assolutamente cambiarlo con un operatore subacqueo con un costo forfettario di 250 euro. (l' anodo costa poche decine di euro, ma il subacqueo....). Abbiamo pagato in contanti (con ricevuta di avvenuta riscossione) e abbiamo chiesto che ci venga mandata la fattura di questa operazione assolutamente necessaria (a parere dello scrivente no, in quanto l'anodo benchè rotto non si era minimamente spostato dalla sua sede e ben fissato allo scafo con viti). A tutt'oggi non abbiamo visto la fattura richiesta... Saluti Marco Dorigo

Sailing Aeolian Islands - late season (Sept)  
We have chartered a lot in Australia and many areas ofthe Mediteranean. Last year we chartered a very well maintained Dufour 460 for 5 adults and 2 of our 20 something children - and had a fabulous holiday; the islands all had an amazing different character - Lipari , Salina , Panarea and - well worth a visit if not to windy to Filicudi Mooring field. Marenauta were super helpful and we will definately charter again through them.

Vacanza in barca a vela alle isole Eolie  
Siamo stati in vacanza per una settimana alle isole eolie noleggiando una barca a Vela Dufour 46 del 2016, equipaggiata di 4 cabine e quattro bagni. Eravamo in due famiglie con un totale di tre bambini e negli ultimi due giorni ci hanno raggiunto tre amici. Complessivamente, essendo il territorio delle isole davvero spettacolare, la vacanza è stata molto bella. Avrei però purtroppo da segnalare alcune criticità che non ci aspettavamo assolutamente di riscontrare. Riguardano in prima battuta l'imbarcazione che, pur essendo molto comoda sia negli spazi interni che esterni, presentava evidenti segni di cattiva gestione e pulizia: i bagni, con scarico elettrico con il sistema di tanica e scarico in mare, erano impraticabili in quanto ad ogni scarico, anche in navigazione e con scarico aperto, ricaricavano liquami invece che acqua, risultando pertanto non affatto igienici, costringendoci a disinfettare costantemente per scongiurare di contrarre infezioni e di scendere su terra ferma per raggiungere servizi igienici. Questo ha rappresentato un gran disagio per tutti che obbiettivamente, dopo tanti anni di noleggio di barca e uso di barca propria, non avevamo mai riscontrato. Al momento della consegna della barca il primo giorno, siamo stati forniti del kit di lenzuola che abbiamo allestito personalmente nei letti constatando presenza di peli sui coprimaterassi. Inoltre la barca, anche se di 10 anni, presentava segni di mal gestione e mancata pulizia di anni come per esempio tendalino, sprayhood e pareti/pavimenti dei bagni molto anneriti. Di contro, il personale che ci ha consegnato la barca è stato molto gentile e professionale dando sin da subito la disponibilità ad essere contattato per qualsiasi evenienza e regalandoci una bag di prodotti alimentari per la prima colazione. Altro aspetto che ci ha davvero negativamente colpito è stato il porto di Marsala, che fornisce servizi igienici in un container, solo un piccolo bar e gli uffici dei charters in strutture piccole e vecchie...più che un porto turistico ha l'aspetto di un vecchio cantiere navale circondato da immondizie di ogni genere....cosa che fa davvero molto riflettere in considerazione della meraviglia naturale del mare e delle isole offerto in esclusiva da quel territorio che gli operatori del porto sono tenuti a gestire. Vorrei sottolineare che normalmente non rilascio recensioni negative e che questa mia sia solo dettata dall'intendo di poter eventualmente apportare dei miglioramenti nel servizio di noleggio di barche a vela in questo splendido territorio.
