Deposit insurance:  The non-refundable deposit can be purchased on-site at a cost of ca. 12% of the deposit for the first and second week. For charters lasting three or more weeks, a new deposit insurance policy must be purchased. Please note that the deposit insurance does not cover clogged toilets, waste tanks, or missing fuel. Therefore, a refundable part of the deposit is mandatory: 500 EUR (payable in cash or by credit card). Optional 300€ (per booking)

Disappointed in Biograd  
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the yacht charter. As far as handling the paperwork in the office was concerned everything was correct and smooth, as it should be. Problems began immediately at yacht takeover. At check-in we found the chart plotter was not working at all. It took "just a second" (read: a good hour) for them to replace it. OK, I thought—it happens. But how did they not notice this at the previous check-out if the plotter screen was slow, black and completely unresponsive? The next day we sailed to the Kornati, where out of curiosity I tried the bow thruster, which turned out not to work. I called their service number, which is supposed to be active from 8:00 to 20:00, at least 10 times with 15-minute breaks. Only in the evening did they call back and say the problem was probably a fuse or low voltage. Since we on the yacht were technical types or electricians ourselves, we had of course already checked that. The next day they sent their team of "experts" who after four hours determined that a cable was probably torn somewhere. They temporarily fixed the problem with a direct switch. I understand things break, but because of this situation we also had to buy a Kornati park ticket ourselves for an extra day. During sailing we kept discovering new problems: interior door hooks were increasingly drooping, the toilet pump was leaking and spraying, sail ropes were frayed, the dinghy was leaking, and in the end the plastic fridge handle broke off too—it was obviously already worn. At check-out we honestly said the fridge handle had broken off. The gentleman inspecting the yacht told us not to worry about it. When I went to the office for the deposit refund however, they charged me €280 for "damage". €35 for the fridge handle—OK, though it was obviously already worn, it finally broke off on us. €75 for the toilet pump because it sprayed a little? This has happened on almost every charter so far and I know well the problem is fixed by tightening a few screws on top of the pump. We would gladly have fixed it ourselves if there had been at least a basic toolkit on the yacht. At check-in their employee even told us he knows the tools are not complete but that we "won't need them anyway". And finally €130 for a diver because a rope was supposedly wrapped around the propeller. Here things became very suspicious. I have wrapped rope on a propeller before and know very well how that feels when sailing. When I asked for photos of the "damage", the current photo showed about 2 cm of thin rope at the shaft bearing. When I wanted to see earlier photos they showed a month-old picture taken from exactly such an angle that this part was not visible at all. When I also pointed out all the other problems on the yacht (bow thruster, hooks, worn equipment...), I only got the answer: "That happens in charter." And that I could do nothing about it. So I left the office quite angry and €280 poorer. Unfortunately this experience was very bad for all crew members, so we decided we will no longer charter yachts from them.

Ottima esperienza  
La procedura di check-in è stata molto veloce. Grazie anche alla dashboard online, dove puoi fare tutto prima di arrivare in sede. Un po' di fortuna anche perché c'era il ragazzo libero quando sono arrivato io, altrimenti avrei dovuto aspettare mezz'ora tra quarti d'ora. La barca era in ordine, forse la cima per aprire la randa rollabile era un po' secca. Per il resto tutto in ordine. Nella barca c'era la tanica per le acque nere funzionante quindi positivo. Unica pecca la pulizia, ma in ogni compagnia di charter la pulizia non è mai come vogliamo. Noleggerei ancora sicuramente con Euronautic e Marenauta è sempre una garanzia.

Relax e confort  
Grazie ad un perfetto connubio tra condizioni meteo, qualità dell’imbarcazione e luoghi incantevoli abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima vacanza in famiglia. Due settimane sono effettivamente volate. Sempre puntuale l’assistenza con la base di Euronautic che ha risolto l’unico problema tecnico verificatosi: il riavvio del wifi di bordo. Ripeteremo sicuramente l’esperienza perché di posti da vedere in Croazia ce ne sono tanti!
