Sailing southern Dalmatia to Dubrovnik and Cavtat  
Ploce as a location is rather inconvenient compared to Dubrovnik airport. Flying to Split might be better — although it's farther, the drive is faster as the area is served by a motorway. The islands we visited I already knew, but they always hold plenty of surprises. The charter company is absolutely recommendable; for example the outboard wasn't working, and using geolocation, within about an hour after our call we had a replacement motor. Sails and systems worked well and the equipment is suitable for this type of sailing and anchoring with shore lines. The only flaw compared to previous years is the price increase at the restaurant you're obliged to use when mooring at their affiliated buoy — this applies to all islands, particularly Mljet and Lastovo.
