A paradise for sailors
The recently registered vessel has clever solutions, with plenty of space for social moments and several spots to relax. Sail handling is routed to the flybridge, where there are electric winches and all the leads with clutches within reach. There is a watermaker, very useful, but not enough if you are not sparing with water and sail a lot. It sounds bad having to keep the engine running at anchor to make water. The places are a paradise: behind every headland you find a beach or a spectacular anchorage, all to be discovered with the right caution in navigation, given the rocks everywhere, visible and not. We visited Cala Rondinara, Isola Piana and Bonifacio in Corsica, then Cavallo and Lavezzi heading south, then Manto della Madonna, Coticcio, Cala Soraya, etc. etc. On the passages we always had decent wind and used the sails, in some cases with one reef (25/27 kn). A small problem with a component on the tender engine forced us to lose half a day and a bit of peace of mind looking for the spare part — a brass fitting worth 5 euros, found in a workshop in Palau and paid 50 euros. That's how it goes, or you pump!! Anyway, an experience we will repeat; I think the best of my personal trips in the last 10 years.
