This was my first charter. Marenauta made it very easy to get my qualifications and experience assessed and accepted. Their communication and follow up was exceptional.
The reception at Phuket Yacht Haven was quick and easy. Although we chartered a relatively small, older boat (a 2007 Beneteau 33) it was immaculately presented and very well equiped. There were heaps of towels, tea towels, linen, etc. The galley was very well equiped and we cooked on board several times. Everything worked and she sailed really well.
On one occassion we tripped out the anchor windlass and I was unable to find the circuit breaker. One quick text later and I was guided to it and under way again. Oh, they also provide a mobile phone with emergency numbers entered, charger, etc to ensure you can contact them anytime necessary.
Handback at the end was quick and pretty casual. No picking over with a fine tooth comb to find faults. No issues at all with immediate return of deposit (in fact I don't think they charge the card at all, just maybe after an issue is detected).
The crusing ground is great and pretty easy to navigate with the provided pilot guide and on-board chartplotter. I brought my tablet with Navionics and Navily (for anchorages) and it was super easy.
I have highly recommended ths type of holiday to my sailing friends and I would highly recommend Marenauta to them also.
I can't wait to do it all again.
We have done many bare boat charters in recent years, and Navigate is one of the best companies we have chartered from. Friendly, prompt, super helpful, we will be back!
The battery on the boat was in constant fluctuation with loose wires. By the time we were close to Grenada we had very low power and were concerned about continuing. In the end we docked in Grenada and the battery was totally dead we hired someone to come in and validate. Thank goodness we did not stay on the mooring. Also the front head leaked and was not efficient we all used the back. Thank you. We also payed for a slip at Grenada as we did not trust the battery which cost us money

Thank you for the feedback
The problem was that the batterie was connected (coupling), between service batterie and engine batterie, at my arrival, I disconnect it and brought back the boat without any problem.
These was a management problem, batteries are new.
Best regards
This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Marenauta.

Family vacation
Very nice and friendly service from the reception untill the harbour people.
We were absolutely satisfied with the organisation of our charter in January 2025. From the initial quotation to the exceptional services provided throughout, our experience culminated in complete satisfaction during our ocean vacation. The communication, professionalism, and support from the Marenauta team were awesome. Lastly, the pricing was highly competitive, making the entire experience even more remarkable. Considering all of this, I can only recommend Marenauta and charter company to others.
