Volos is a city that is located in the center of Northern Greece about lofty 326km north of Athens and 215km south of Thessaloniki. Built on the interior of the Gulf of Pagasitokos and at the foot of Mount Pelion, the land of centaur, Volos is the only city of Thessaly who face the sea. Volos is the third largest commercial port in Greece but also very busy because of its connection with the islands of the Sporades as well as the islands of Lemnos, Lesvos, Chios and Skyros.
