Not very satisfied  
I have to be honest, we let many things slide. I booked a boat with furling mainsail and bow thruster as we had a reduced crew and for me that was essential. The bow thruster is broken and not working and apparently has been for some time, so I would have preferred to be told. One of the two heads, despite frequent cleaning with various detergents, gave off an unbearable stench that we put up with all week. I understand we are at the end of the season and the boats are under maximum stress, but that should not fall on the customer.

Nice holiday, even though the brand-new boat had a few problems...  
In the end the holiday went well, but the boat's electrical system developed problems of various kinds, some not exactly "minor". Unfortunately the summer season does not always allow charter companies to intervene as well as they might on the problems boats develop, especially when they are not of a clear nature as in our case; anyway, we are used to making do with tools, and there were no problems we could not solve.

A week in the Aeolian Islands on the Lagoon 42  
Seven days in the Aeolian Islands on the Lagoon 42, and it went very well even with the weather, good wind almost every day, no days lost. The boat is appreciated for its space and stability at anchor, but it is not designed to sleep ten. The saloon sofas are comfortable to sit on but uncomfortable as beds. I recommend it without doubt, just avoid loading too many people on board.

It was a beautiful holiday, I don't deny it, but unfortunately there was a fault with the generator and one with the watermaker right from the first night. the impossibility of producing fresh water forced us to severely limit consumption on board and to modify the cruise program to return repeatedly to Lipari in order to refuel with water, although this stop was not planned twice in the original itinerary. To the discomfort resulting from the lack of air conditioning was added the much more significant one, linked to the loss of time actually available for sailing and for the holiday itself. Due to the problem with the generator we in fact remained stopped for the first time in Lipari for about half a day, from the morning until past lunchtime, and subsequently we were forced to return to port again where we lost another day. I would like to underline that the crew demonstrated great professionalism, availability and collaborative spirit and that we do not in any way attribute the responsibility for the situation to them. On the contrary, we believe they did everything in their power to limit the impact of the problem. However, the fact remains that the service actually enjoyed is significantly different from what was proposed and purchased.
