Good despite everything that happened ...  
Unfortunately the boat showed serious maintenance deficiencies and the proposed skipper had little experience and was unable to handle situations outside the ordinary. Specifically the windlass broke and we had to manage the situation ourselves as crew, we had considerable difficulty mooring to refuel at Ischia and once again we had to handle the situation ourselves, the tender outboard was absolutely unreliable, the cockpit light did not work for the first two days, then fortunately repaired by the skipper, the skipper was uncertain and anxious, invented dramatic weather forecasts and refused to make night passages citing contractual reasons unknown to us. Fortunately the weather was always good and we got by, but with a less experienced crew and less favourable weather I am sure the outcome would not have been the same. A shame because the places are very beautiful and the marina efficient. I believe you need to take better care of the maintenance of your boats and the selection of your staff thanks anyway Gianluca Fantini

As always, we do our very best for our clients, and we are sorry to read this review.
The only issue encountered was related to the windlass, which arose on Thursday. We would like to point out that the boat was handed over on Saturday in perfect working order. During the week, due to improper use, the remote control broke.
As for the outboard, the only problem occurred mainly at Ventotene. For the rest of the week the outboard worked without difficulty.
Furthermore, at check-out it emerged that an oar and a fender were missing on board: items we did not charge the client for, just as we did not charge for the broken windlass remote control.
The client was also offered a mooring buoy at Cetara on Friday afternoon, precisely because they were unable to use the anchor.

A week in the Aeolian Islands on the Lagoon 42  
Seven days in the Aeolian Islands on the Lagoon 42, and it went very well even with the weather, good wind almost every day, no days lost. The boat is appreciated for its space and stability at anchor, but it is not designed to sleep ten. The saloon sofas are comfortable to sit on but uncomfortable as beds. I recommend it without doubt, just avoid loading too many people on board.

It was a beautiful holiday, I don't deny it, but unfortunately there was a fault with the generator and one with the watermaker right from the first night. the impossibility of producing fresh water forced us to severely limit consumption on board and to modify the cruise program to return repeatedly to Lipari in order to refuel with water, although this stop was not planned twice in the original itinerary. To the discomfort resulting from the lack of air conditioning was added the much more significant one, linked to the loss of time actually available for sailing and for the holiday itself. Due to the problem with the generator we in fact remained stopped for the first time in Lipari for about half a day, from the morning until past lunchtime, and subsequently we were forced to return to port again where we lost another day. I would like to underline that the crew demonstrated great professionalism, availability and collaborative spirit and that we do not in any way attribute the responsibility for the situation to them. On the contrary, we believe they did everything in their power to limit the impact of the problem. However, the fact remains that the service actually enjoyed is significantly different from what was proposed and purchased.
